QRGen Pro is a free, browser-based QR code generator built for speed and simplicity. No accounts, no tracking, no limits. Just generate your QR code and download it.

Supported QR Types

We support 7 different QR code types, each designed for a specific use case:

  • URL QR Code — Generate a QR code for any website URL. Perfect for sharing links on print materials, business cards, and more.
  • WiFi QR Code — Create a QR code that lets people connect to your WiFi network instantly by scanning. No typing passwords.
  • vCard QR Code — Create a QR code containing your contact details. When scanned, it adds your info directly to their phone contacts.
  • Email QR Code — Generate a QR code that opens a pre-filled email when scanned. Set the recipient, subject, and body text.
  • Text QR Code — Encode any plain text into a QR code. Great for short messages, serial numbers, or any text data.
  • SMS QR Code — Create a QR code that opens a pre-filled text message when scanned. Set the phone number and message body.
  • Phone QR Code — Generate a QR code that initiates a phone call when scanned. Perfect for business cards and signage.

Error Correction Levels

QR codes include redundant data so they remain scannable even when partially damaged. Choose the level that fits your use case:

  • L (Low, ~7%) — smallest QR code, ideal for clean digital displays
  • M (Medium, ~15%) — default; good balance of size and resilience
  • Q (Quartile, ~25%) — recommended for outdoor or physical use
  • H (High, ~30%) — maximum resilience; use when the QR code may be damaged or a logo overlaid

Privacy

All QR codes are generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to any server. We do not store, log, or track the content of your QR codes. Your data stays on your device.

Technology

QRGen Pro is built with Next.js and uses the open-source qrcode library for QR code generation. The site is statically exported and hosted on Cloudflare Pages for maximum speed and reliability.
